Based on liviapenn's gender-reversed Star Trek casting post (the new movie cast, not the original series cast.) I don't know much about these actors, but once I'd seen this I knew I had to make a mock movie poster manip of it. Miss Spock! Mr. Uhura! Way too much fun to pass up. Oh my gosh, this is AMAZING! I actually toyed a bit with putting something like this together in Photoshop, but gave up pretty quickly when I couldn't find just the right pics for everyone & make the colors and shading match the poster. So I'm *incredibly* impressed that you managed to make it match so well, and even put them in the outfits and everything!

Jordana looks so fantastically *Spocklike* with short hair, I'm *amazed* that you managed to find the right pose/expression for Leonard Roberts, Romulan Jennifer Connelly is just super impressive, and I don't even have WORDS for how much your Yvonne!Kirk rocks. (And clicking on the picture you used.... heh, yeah. Not entirely out of character for Kirk...? *G*)

Seriously, wow, thank you for doing putting this together. It's so cool to be able to visualize it like this.

^_^ Oh wow, I'm so glad you like it! Yeah, I had to do a bit of fiddling with the lighting on most of those pictures, but it was worth it to be able to visualize the genderswap idea. Jordana Brewster was so much fun to turn Vulcan-- I was kind of delighted to see how Spocklike she ended up looking with the hair and the ears and the uniform in place. And I would LOVE to see a Yvonne!Kirk, now-- she just seems so perfect for the role. :D

Ooh, the other poster-- It might be tricky to find good reference, but if I can find it, I'd love to try putting something like that together. Between the Trek and genderswapping, I think I like this idea too much to *not* try. Thanks for the suggestion! ^_^
