They fuck you up, your mum and dad;
they may not mean to, but they do.
They give you all the faults they had,
and add some extra, just for you.

I'm a writer. I don't feel. My Charecters do.

When you're an addict, you can go without feeling
anything except drunk or stoned or hungry.
Still, when you compare this to other feelings,
to sadness, anger, fear, worry,
despair, and depression,
well, an addiction no longer looks
so bad. It looks like a very viable option.

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
Is also great.
And would suffice.
