Paint Nite 23: Holiday candle

I haven't had time to do a Paint Nite in weeks, and I'm not entirely sure I could afford the time yesterday either, but I decided I really needed the distraction and the mental break. That is interesting that the code didn't work to cover the entire cost of the class - they must have fixed that logic - when I signed up for a $25 "master class" with that teacher (she only seems to do the more spendy ones) - the $10 code *did* cover the whole event cost!

I had considered signing up for this one - I did think it was really pretty! But that background felt like it was something I would struggle with, LOL. And I figured I would end up with really indistinct greenery that would turn into a blob.

Your greenery is really impressive - I think you did a great job keeping the distinct shapes! And I love your candle!

I actually just finished my paint nite when Biden and Harris came on - and I have to say that despite everything, when Biden implored us to let go of the anger - I was kind of like...well, I guess I could try... :D I dunno - it's still pretty raw and we're not done yet.

I'm surprised this painting took longer than the usual ones - it doesn't look that complicated really?

And yay for the election news, of course!
