Another long-delayed update

Sorry to hear you are out of a job but I honestly think schools should be closed.
We're not getting the numbers down here and imo that's the reason.

Good to hear your BIL's colostomy has been reversed. I'm sure that makes things easier for him.

Hi.

I am beyond terrified for the future of our country. Wasn't it supposed to get better after the election?

Why do you feel things aren't looking up? So many of my friends and ex in-laws reporting feeling hopeful once again, despite Covid-19...

Numbers aren't going down here either, even though we're in a semi-lockdown since November and on through at least January 11th, with loosened restrictions over the holidays. I'm opposed to slackening because people do have a clear tendency to be irresponsible. Mark my words: There will be a rise in numbers after Christmas - I never felt safer betting on anything. *headdesk*
Stay safe, all of you!

Good to hear about Rob!

Bummer about the Covid-related news with the schools and subbing... (As you probably have heard from your mom, we're heading into another lockdown Monday, preemptively... as stringent or more stringent than the one back in March, as far as I can tell. Really not looking forward to it, even though it's not like we've been doing much that wouldn't be allowed under the new rules.)

Stay safe! The numbers coming out of the USA are terrifying. xxx

I wore a surgical mask full-time at work for a few months. Happy to try to help you troubleshoot any issues you’re running into if needed.
