To go or not to go?

I need to find a few outstanding tax documents (from both 2019 and 2020 tax years) I'm sure he has in his house (I have the rest) and get those finally filed. I have a much less compelling reason to get a on a plane than you - and honestly, the plane is not even my biggest concern ( ... )

Boah ... it's difficult to know what to do, isn't it?
We've been trained now not to do things such as this but ... you've been vaccinated - and I hope your dad as well - so ... it'll never get safer than now.

I’d probably go. How long is the flight? That seems like the riskiest bit, and I’d probably wear an N95 mask for that if possible. Has your father been vaccinated? Remembering that your vaccine might not stop you from contracting and transmitting COVID to him (though it probably makes it much much less likely). But ultimately I think I would still go, but assuming he is unvaccinated I’d be very very cautious between now and the end of the trip to protect him (though I’m sure you’re being quite cautious already!).

Go. You're vaccinated. Wear a mask on the plane. You're smart, you understand what the risks are, you'll never forgive yourself if you don't go.
