Any photoshop geeks on my friends list?

So, I have the best christmas present idea ever, and all i have to do is make a shirt on cafepress. However, I want to do it on a dark colored shirt, which requires creating a transparent image - one where the white isn't the background, and there aren't those damn halo things around all the objects. It is a simple design, and I've been putzing

Currently am letting DQ take a whack at it, but thanks! I'll keep you in mind. (I'm fairly photoshop proficient too, if I peck around enough, I just don't have it!) =D

Hope life is treating you ok, miss you bunches, wish you lived close enough to start an ETSY store with me(I'm thinking about opening one) and do faerie stuff. Can you believe someone is finally putting together a fae performance group in JC?! And now I don't live there. Sheesh.
