I woke up and decided to read something. I grabbed the first thing I saw in the headboard bookshelf thing. Unfortunately it was the first book in the extremely lame Darksword trilogy. I am reading The Progress Paradox, by Gregg Easterbrook. It is good. The observations and conclusions in it are very close to my own observations and conclusions, except backed up with statistics and academic research.

I enjoy Easterbrook's writing quite a lot, anyway, so that helps.

They're doing a charity thing with their local Children's Hospital, where they're asking for readers to donate toys/games/consoles or money. I'm wearing a new shirt today, an early Christmas gift from my grandparents (why I got it early is a short, boring story). It's a short sleeve polo (but not Polo) shirt, but unlike most of its bretheren in my closet, it's a size LT rather than a size L.
