Oh gals. I feel very guilty as I'm one of the people who's not been contributing as often as I did. Real Life just got so busy this last few months...

Thanks for all the hard work you've done here. It's been great to play.

PS Will the archive remain open or will the community be deleted?

We're going to leave the community as is, and people can even post more fics if they want. We're just not going to do more challenges.

I'm glad you had a good time. I know we certainly did. There's always the possibility that something will revive the AoS fandoms, so we're definitely keeping things open. Thanks for playing along with us!

I've enjoyed it too, and I know Laura did as well. It's just he cycle of fandom. And who knows, maybe there'll be a resurgence sometime soon and we'll get his moving again.

Thank you both so much for all the work you've put into this comm. One of the challenges here got me started writing the first story I ever posted in Hornblower fandom, so even if it didn't make it in under the wire here, I'm very grateful for that -- and many other times the challenges have sparked some inspiration or gotten the gears rolling on a nascent story, even when one didn't actually come to fruition in time for posting, so thanks for those as well.

I'll probably do some poking around in past challenges, as others have said -- maybe we'll get lucky and start to see a steady trickle of entries in the ongoing amnesty period. Thanks again.
