Hugs back! We charged magnificently, but joked afterwards about the real warriors acting like us. 'We can't go down there, it's muddy!' Or steep, or cold..
Twas the Golden Gate in Cromwell, the hotel. The bathroom was, well, a bit on the 1960s side. And tiny. Vic called it 10th on the list of hotels we stayed in! It was clean and friendly enough though.
Priscilla is Simon's wife, yep. Very nice and pretty lass. Glad you're enjoying the posts!
Ah right, we stayed there and if I remember rightly our room wasn't the most up-to-date, although I'm a bit hazy on the bathroom. "Clean and friendly" though, yes.
I did wonder what Simon's wife was like; glad you got to meet her. Bet she had plenty to tell you!
I'm loving the posts, thanks so much to all of you for doing this! Has the actual Tour come to an end yet? The last evening we found quite sad, saying goodbye to the people we'd met after that meal up the top of the gondola ride at Queenstown, although having a few more days to explore on our own did help. We just missed the others after we'd travelled together and done so much as a fellowship...
Thanks again for keeping us updated with your adventures, it's great!

The salmon farm is different - glad you got to taste some :-) Puzzle World sounds good if weird!
So, which hotel did you stay at that was "a bit basic on the inside"? Glad the Mustang convention didn't disturb you too much.
Thanks for another interesting post!
