He threw back the black leather blanket to reveal a black leather sheet underneath.

and

Marian awoke a few hours later after dreaming about being chased by a giant wheel of cheese and some dagger-wielding strawberries that were shouting, “Remember your dead wife!”

oh, and marian stubbing her toe was unusually funny
the image of maz, in piggy pyjama's compete with ears and tail, swearing mutely into the night as she tries not to wake guy is
