30 days meme - Day 29
Day 01 - Your favorite song All time: it's kinda hard to pick but i always love to listen to Desiree's "LIFE", it has some memories from when i was in junior high.
Day 02 - Your favorite movie: Forrest Gump, well, basically any movie that has Tom Hanks or Johnny Depp in it :)
Day 03 - Your favorite television program: Oprah Show, Hey3x Music Champion (Downtown are the best combi ever xD), Shin Domoto Kyoudai, 5LDK.
Day 04 - Your favorite book: Chicken Soup series, Harry Potter, Soe Hok Gie: Catatan Seorang Demonstran (The Diaries of A Demonstrator, the diary of an Indonesian activist Soe Hok Gie)
Day 05 - Your favorite quote: there are some and all of them are from Akanishi Jin (he's not my ichiban in KAT-TUN but i gotta admit, we have a similar way of thinking), which are:
@ Everyone has their own situations, be it sad or painful moments. But for the number of times that you cry, there will be that number of smiles awaiting.

Day 06 - Whatever tickles your fancy: looking at the stars in the night sky, never fails to make me calm.
Day 07 - A photo that makes you happy: rather than makes me happy, this cute pic of Tsuyoshi makes me go "aww, let me pinch that cheek XD"
Day 08 - A photo that makes you angry/sad: this is not the Berlin Wall, it's the wall that Israel built in Gaza Strip and put Gaza people in a miserable life. This is the worst human rights violation i've ever seen in my whole life and the fact that not much the world community can do to stop it makes me angry and sad at the same time.
Day 09 - A photo you took: first pic, a big butterfly flew into my house, never seen a butterfly that big but mom said there used to be bigger ones back in her hometown (my grandparents home). Click here for comparison. Second pic, a conjoined twin tomatos, cute XD
Day 10 - A photo of you taken over ten years ago: i don't have it with me now, photo from 10 years ago. But i do have the one from my senior highschool year, 6 years ago. Click here.
Day 11 - A photo of you taken recently: not really recently, this is when i hung out with my college bestfriends after graduation (i'm second right in that pic, with brown clothe). We're all in different cities now and i haven't seen them again since we graduated. Miss them a lot :(
Day 12 - Whatever tickles your fancy: watching KAT-TUN concert DVD, singing and dancing along like an idiot, in my room (^.~)
Day 13 - A fictional book: what else, Harry Potter of course (^__^)
Day 14 - A non-fictional book: Soe Hok Gie: Catatan Seorang Demonstran (The Diaries of A Demonstrator, the diary of an Indonesian activist Soe Hok Gie)
Day 15 - A fanfic: well, i don't read fanfics *shrugs*
Day 16 - A song that makes you cry (or nearly): definitely "Onigishi" by Yokoyama Yuu, and i've cried listening to this song since the very first time, even before his mom died. The song is just simple but has a very deep meaning, about the bond between moms and their kids.
Day 17 - An art piece (painting, drawing, sculpture, etc.): Prambanan and Borobudur, two most famous temple in Indonesia. Both are located near my grandparents town :)
Day 18 - Whatever tickles your fancy: learning japanese. I finally took a class, started in April, and i've been learning lots of things. i can say that my japanese knowledge is not zero anymore now lol
Day 19 - A talent of yours: sports, i guess. I was in karate and softball clubs back in high school. Have gone to some competitions and also won some medals. I used to play badminton too in my spare time.
Day 20 - A hobby of yours: reading, but i haven't bought a book in a while (T_T), and listening to music. I also love sports, i just can't find the time to do it again (-_-)"
Day 21 - A recipe: i'm not a vegan but this japanese tofu burger is reeeeally delicious, i've tried to make it myself a couple of times and they were a big success (^__^)
Day 22 - A website: djawatempodoeloe, it has a collection of antique photos and postcards from Java, Indonesia. All pictures are scans from originals that the owner found at flee markets and in second hand shops. It's really cool, you should check it out sometimes (^_^)
Day 23 - A YouTube video: none for now. i mostly watch JE's vids xD
Day 24 - Whatever tickles your fancy: eating spicy food till my tears come out.
Day 25 - Your day, in great detail: i don't really like blabbing bout my personal life on LJ. So, i'm gonna make it short. Today i woke up a little late cause i stayed up late last night doing my japanese homework. Cooked macaroni soup that i just got the recipe from the internet (how useful this invention is <3) yesterday for my breakfast today. Then off to work. I'm still in the middle of my work while i'm writing this xD
Day 26 - Your week, in great detail: Yesterday, my friend told me through Facebook that a friend of ours had a motorbike accident and got into a coma state for 3 days. This morning, another friend of mine texted me a message that said friend had passed away, the doctors couldn't help her in the end. She was my bestfriend in junior high. We sat next to each other for 2 years. She was a really nice and cheerful girl. Talented in drawing and always willing to draw me sketches whenever i asked her too, eventhough she said she'd ran out of idea of what to draw. In my senior year of junior high, i got hospitalized for several days and couldn't do the final test for PE class which came in the form of group aerobic exercising. I had to take the test in another day alone, and she accompanied me back then, standing beside the PE teacher, supporting me. Then we went to different high school and university. The last time i met her was when our softball highschool team competed in a competition, which was like 8 years ago, and after that we only communicated through Facebook. Then suddenly this news came. I can't believe she's gone. I couldn't even go to her funeral this afternoon. I didn't have the heart to go and send her away. I just want to keep her memory in my heart as it is, before she was gone. Goodbye my dear friend. God bless you always.
Day 27 - This month, in great detail: the job has been going well, like usual, and i've been enjoying the japanese lesson a lot, one more class and we'll be having our first exam (^_^). Aside from that, two sad news have really shocked me this month. The death of Yokoyama Yuu's mom and my junior high school bestfriend. May they rest in peace now :(
Day 28 - This year, in great detail:
- earlier this year two of my college friends gave birth to their first child. Both are baby girls and they're so cute and pretty (*^_^*).
- i started my japanese lesson at the end of March and will face the first exam next month. it's been so much fun. the class members and the teacher are all kind and easy to get along with. the lessons are starting to get difficult but so interesting.
- i'm getting good at my job and hopefully will get a raise soon lol
Day 29 - Hopes, dreams and plans for the next 365 days:
- to continue my japanese lesson and be advanced in speaking the language.
- find a way to get to Japan.
- be more confident with my own decision in life. It's my life after all, not anybody else's.
- be thankful a lot and smile a lot (^__^)
