Last night, Rich came over for dinner. It was nice to hang out with him again, it had been too long. We watched Gonzo - the documentary on Hunter S. Thompson - and may I say if you have not seen it, please do yourself a favor and watch it. The film is very personal & insightful on his life. A bittersweet flick if you will. A week later and I'm still feeling the same way. Just when I feel like I'm climbing back up, something smacks me back down again. Sometimes it's my own doing. No drug or alcohol will shake this sense of sadness, and I know that I'm the only person who can change my mood.... but I cannot get out of this slump for anything. Argh!

I feel like I'm teetering on the brink of insanity.
I don't know where my head is at half the time.
In the clouds.
Somewhere else.
I just have such a hard time focusing lately.

I want to snap out of whatever this is. Pronto.

Vegas. A whole fucking week in Vegas! Seeing Puscifer's first show. Staying in a room w/ 3 of my favorite ladies... a huge handful of other awesome people that are going to be there. I just recieved news that another couple of my friends are gettin a divorce. This time it was completely out of left field. They had been married for a few years, have 3 children, and seemed so happy. I'm sort of speechless. They were one of those couples whom you thought would always be happy.
