So, here's a bit more of this, following on from
this. For some reason I thought I'd posted some of this chunk before, but I can't find it, so.
Any road, I felt like posting something, and this was at a point where I felt I could.

Other than that it's a cute continuation. (And strangely I don't remember reading that version previously. Must have missed it somehow.)
BTW, have you given thought to the idea of posting at ao3.org? If you'd like, I can send you an invitation.

Thanks! That's a very good point.
I'd not normally write that way, and "Rowling does it" really isn't a good enough excuse. I can probably tighten things up in general in the process of fixing it.

Thank you. For some reason this version is easier to keep going with than the original. I don't think I've put it up anywhere other than here on LJ--I got sort of turned off of using Ficwad and FFN at some point.

I've thought about ao3.org, but never gone through with applying for an account there. If you've got an invitation to spare, I'd be grateful for it. Thanks so much!

And now I'm curious as to what Harry whispered in Fleur's ear at the end.
And I have to say I'm most happy for Harry (obviously) for finding such a wonderful group family to love him. But I'm also very happy for Hermione to be able to get away from what was, from all appearances, a miserable pre-teen experience.

Thank you! I'm honoured.

I have to confess that I don't know for sure, myself. ;-) It obviously had the desired effect; I suspect it was something about "naughty pets" who tease their masters and asking Luna to recommend an appropriate punishment, but I might be wrong about that. Hermione might be able to get the answer, but I've a feeling she's not sure she wants to know, herself.

Thanks. I suppose I tend to see Hermione as having been almost as isolated at school, pre-Hogwarts, as Harry was, although for different reasons, mostly because she seems so defensive in Philosopher's Stone. I wonder if I'm exaggerating her experiences too much, but I remember hearing some fairly horrible stuff as a child myself and when I add in experiences of bullying my girlfriends and other close ( ... )
