But we weren't raised like that, were we?" She

I reckon there will be more, although I should probably try to finish some other stories. For that matter, I need to sneak in here and edit a couple of places--I was so tired of saying to myself that I'd post this "tomorrow" that I posted it before making a couple of sentence-level changes that were needed.

Snape's description of what he thought James would have done to Lily doesn't seem to jibe with McGonagall's listing of things they weren't allowed to do. Or is it just that James would have come as close to the line as possible?
Love Luna's tie.
And really liked Harry's observation of how different Hermione is when she's not trying to do things to impress her ex-parents.
I would love to see someone write a story where Luna notices Ginny's withdrawal and actually does something about it. This could be the one, right? Perfect setup for the three (or four) of them. Although I wouldn't imagine Molly and Arthur would disown Ginny.
Anyway, thanks for a great read!

Kudos for Mrs. Frisby! I loved that book!
I did as well. And it seemed like something that would resonate with Harry and this version of Hermione.
Snape's description of what he thought James would have done to Lily doesn't seem to jibe with McGonagall's listing of things they weren't allowed to do. Or is it just that James would have come as close to the line as possible? At the time I was thinking that Snape meant that James would have come as close to the line as possible, but it occurs to me that Snape might not actually know what the rules really are. I think that the circumstances in which a girl could fall into a status like Hermione's are so rare that it probably hasn't happened in a hundred years. McGonagall looked up the rules as soon as the register changed, but Snape might well have not even found out about Harry and Hermione until the staff meeting after the Welcoming Feast, or even the next morning ( ... )
