But Why's the Water Gone?

[ OPEN/CLOSED? ]: OPEN to everyone!

[ WARNINGS ]: None yet. Essentially anything is possible later on.
[ NOTES ]: Time to deal with that flood, everyone! L and Light will be heading down to the basement to investigate the problem. The more help, the merrier! Please reply to the same thread instead of making new comments, so the whole ordeal can occur in a linear fashion. We'll be using turn order, and the three-day rule is in effect in case we get stuck!
"Light, I haven't once seen it since the first time, and that was by your provocation. Please take a shower; it's far more thorough."
Frankly, being attached to someone who hadn't fully bathed in so long was beginning to bother him. Light looked clean enough, but...using a sponge couldn't possibly be as sanitary. Though it wasn't as if L were completely comfortable when bathing, either. His eyes would focus warily on the drain every time he used the shower...much like now.
Perched with a knee on the rim of the tub, L leaned in to turn the knobs that controlled the water...only to be disappointed. No matter how far he twisted the controls, he was left with a only dribble, not a spray, from the shower head. He stood back and watched in dismay. It wasn't workable. There was no way that would be able to get him clean.
