i went to mexico the first week of spring break. it was amazing. i felt just awful for not speaking any spanish. all i could say was "good morning/afternoon/evening" "where are my pants" "i'm pregnant" "what's your name" and [possibly the most useful phrase]

those jellyfish are called man o' wars. one washed up on the beach in florida and i was all mummy keep away! it will sting you! and she goes. what that little plastic bubble? then a small boy came and dropped a rock on it.

i think it is dead my dear. are mail...woman...... is a bit of a failure. nine times out of ten she doesn't take mail out of the box.
but i shall write a new one. as i enjoy letters.

that photo you took was probably the best thing that's happened to cancun in a long time. I bet it was just waiting for someone to come along and turn everything sideways.

I also noticed disneys little mermaid painted on a wall at a playground, and remembered your apparent distaste for any connection between you and that other ariel.

I found one in the parking spot that we took last time nick drove me to the best buy. and on the way back to the car, I threw it on the ground, and tried to hit the big yellow sign above the doors. but alas, I failed to bounce it right. a few seconds later, in a distant part of the parkinglot, a car alarm went off.

hahhahaa. i liked the freindly hygene reminder on the picture of the hand painting. it says "wash your hands after using the bathroom". tee hee.
that was so cool how the guy collected washed up bottles and everything, when i get old and wrinkly and retire on a beach somewhere ill be sure to start a collection.
its so true about parents and letting you try drinks. haha. thanksgiving last year my dad let me try some wine, but of corse i pretended to be disgusted and go spit it out. parents. ha.

yea, i thought that sign was really cute.
i definitely want to have collections like that, others [of his] included: old wooden platform shoes, driftwood, banister railings, and old glass japanese fishing floats.
