Well, Loki, I guess. -- See, I'm thinking about leaving Thor and heading off to another ship entirely. I just don't know how to go on about doing so. And I've heard that you and a few others traveled through space off of Thor, so I was just wondering if you went by shuttle, if it cost a lot of credits, and that sorta thing.
Sakura would be a better person to talk to about that; she's the one who spearheaded it all and got the ship together.
Although, the only reason she did get it was by accepting a mission to deliver medical supplies to a planet. I don't think you can just get a ship to go anywhere. At least, not for refugees, anyway. You'd probably have to find a workaround like that to go anywhere.

[hearing this makes maka's heart sink down to her stomach. so the only way for her to even do something like that was to accept a mission? the mission part isn't a problem, she's used to them -- but what are the chances that thor will be looking for someone to do delivery service to another ship?]
[she curls her fingers into a ball and for a moment she is silent. but as minato asks her for her reasons, maka relaxes somewhat and looks at him in the eye.]
I've recently learned that something horrible happens to a dear friend of mine in the future and I want to prevent it. The last time I saw my friend was on the S.S. Sif and he was taken place before that particular incident. I need to find a way to get there to know and to make sure that my enemy isn't there and hasn't gotten a hold of him yet.
[There's a length of time before he speaks, as he thinks over what, exactly, she;s trying to do. Altering timelines? With wormhloes it certainly is possible, but... still. Altering events like that...]
...You realize what you're asking to do, right? Even with an Improbability Drive the chances you're gonna find the Sif again are slim, and even if you do there's no guarantee he'll still be there.
Further, there's still the chance that you're already there, as well. Maybe from a different point in time but it's still possible.
But what if I'm not? [she's starting to get a little emotional now with her voice cracking.] -- I don't want to take that risk. I can't just sit here and just do nothing. I have to try, Minato.... I-I have to...
[He leans forward a bit, placing a firm hand on the table and meeting her eyes. He speaks slowly, but with a firm resolve.]
There's a difference between doing something to help and doing something stupid and crazy. You are no help to your friend nor anyone here if you get lost or die out there.
Believe me. I have friends on the Sif, too. I've got enemies that could be there. But I can't constantly worry about them. I've got to trust them. Trust that they can handle it. Something bad may have happened to your friend in the future of your planet, but out here the game's changed. Old rules are thrown out. Trust that he can get past it out here, even if he couldn't at home.
...If you really are concerned, though. an easier method would be to send a probe with a message. Confirm or deny your suspicions first before throwing yourself out there.
[she listens carefully and takes in his words. he is right, she thinks. she can't sit here and just constantly worry for crona, beat, or for anyone on a regular basis for the rest of her who knows when. she... just has to trust them all. feeling a bit defeated, maka lowers her gaze to her glass while nipping at the bottom of her lip.]

I know you want to help. I do, too. But a line has to be drawn somewhere. You're no help to anyone if you're dead.
