Well. Been quite chirpy this evening - up until the shiny rental disk with Dawn Of The Dead stopped spinning. Now going to sleep to get up for another pointless meeting at some fucking stupid time is at the front of my thought processes ( Read more... )

sorry for being all stupid im just going to london soon to work for 6 months and im liek all curious as to if it's the same as back home.

Dawn of the dead is great, i think i have this huge fantasy to live in a shopping centre complex :P:P:P

Leicester, just over an hour train ride north of London (I work for a London company but just have to go down for meetings).

Mainly clubbing - well, it depends on the person. I always have, and currently speaking it's the most obvious source of people, noise and alcohol. It's fair to say 'drinking' is more prevelant in the UK compared to alot of places in the world, whether it be in pubs, clubs or home (or so the press keeps saying).

London is exciting, expensive, big and stressful. I had fun living there for a year or two but hope never to again. Hell I'm even dreading travelling down this morning. It's also a very lonely place to live (yes - even with all the people). 6 months - I'm sure you'll have a great time, it's just a weird place to actually live.

Yeah - it was funny. Would chat film shit more, but I better comb my hair, check I have no nail varnish on etc.

What do you do for a living?

Oh how I miss the club nights...I've ours wasnt closed and there were events elsewhere I would be so joyful.

One of my best friends got deported back to the states after out-staying her tourist visa (long story but that's the gist of it). She's still trying to contend with the lack of clubbing to this day. I'd always assumed there would be loads to do on that front in the states when I was younger. Your country always looked so cool and exciting in movies...

Was 'bed' suggestive descison for my past nights sleeping arrangements or where your about to head?
