I'm being assured that this cyst I have is nothing to worry about. They claim that it is too small to be anything serious, and will most likely go away on its own. Even though they say that it probably isn't malignant, they are humoring me and have sent an order for a blood test to the lab to check for a specific cancer marker. All I have to do

I think the reason they kept passing you off was they don't know what it is.
Often times I've heard my own doctor make the "hmmmmmmm" sound, usually means he has no idea. Whatever happens, don't lose it. I can tell you padded white rooms are no fun. Think positive, half of healing is positive thought. Of course the other half is medication.....mmmmmmmm mind altering, hehehehehe.
