Welcome to the world of poly cystic ovarian disease and insulin resistance, I've been heresince I was 13 years old :) I've been on birth control, metformin, and flutamide since then.
Not to be a downer, but I don't know who told you this condition is reversible, because it isn't. Its almost impossible for women with this disorder to get pregnant, not entirely impossible but close without extensive treatments. You can find a support group and more info at pcos.net.
Its very hard to manage and I'm very sorry you have this, its really hard. You are very prone to depression and weight problems with this disease as well, I can surely attest to that.

You'll be in my thoughts hun

Hugs

hun you dont have to have ovarian cysts to have PCOS - its a wide range disease these days. I dont have cysts either, but i still have the disease. Just because you dont have cysts now doesnt mean you wont get them in the future - because you have all the other pre-symptoms.
