My eyes suck. They've been irritating the living hell out of me for over a month now.
Finally went to the Dr. for it today. Got various eyedrops and some new glasses. They should be here in a week or 2.

This relates to nothing in particular, but amuses me.

I have morning glories in small planters to germinate. I set them out last night the the squirrels tipped one.
So they have been tied up with string and hang in a row over my porch.

Next mission...inverting my new jasmine and hanging it.

Her distressed blue eyes stared at the ground as though all of existence had just abruptly ceased to be. To look at her you'd think she'd just watched her best friend die. But I suppose, to a toddler, having your ice cream fall off the cone is just as bad.

He leveled his eyes at me and stared for an eternal second. I don't know what thoughts and hopes and dreams and regrets flashed in my eyes. I saw his entire life flash in those mirrors of his soul...and then he pulled the trigger.

I stand in the room and stare at her face. All I want to do is touch, soothe, comfort, cherish.
I can't do any of that. She is gone. Will never grow up. She's beyond the world now.
