Writer's Block: Lights Out

When I was little I absolutely loved it when the power would go out! It was the only time my mom lit candles. I would play like I lived in the 16th or 17th century, and I'd roam through the house as if it were my castle.

Every now and then I'll turn off all the lights and eletronics in my house and light candles. Pretending you're in that time and reading Interview With the Vampire by candle light really relaxes the mind and afterwards you want to go outside and see if you can kick food over an open fire. ^_^
