yes. i'm going to study civil engineering because i'd rather build the road, bridge, or skyscrapper then sit down and design it.

tangible results are much more meaningful to me than math equations and test results in school.

All i have to say is that if u dont like doing school work dont get a job in an office... I sit a computer for 8 hours a day and i want to shoot myself in the face the whole time... I am at work right now and i'm doing this....Tangible results are always better.

As my post sorta showed, I do agree to an extent. There's something satisfying in seeing the fruit of your labor, regardless of how menial the task.

However, I have always found satisfaction in school work, especially writing. The pride I feel when I finish a paper, story or poem is just as tangible for me as any physical work can provide.

Yeah, same for me. Like climbing a rock wall, once you find some level that is challenging enough, like a 5.10, and you do it you can easily feel accomplished. School work won't give the same buzz that physical work does.

You know, I feel the same way every day. The one thing that keeps me going is the fact that every math problem I do, every piece of information I absorb is one piece of information less in my way of getting back to camp. Those 2 months make all this bullshit worthwhile and I am already counting the days until I am back up there.
