I'm a little bit confused. If the calls were informing you that she was in a coma, how were they prank calls? I would hardly find my friend in a coma excuse to joke around about and an excuse to make prank phone calls. Maybe they just called so many times because they didn't feel they were getting your attention quite enough about it? Hm, I don't know. But I suppose that's just technicalities
