I had a silverstar in one of my headlights not so long ago, not so by choice, but because they didn't have any of the cheaper lamps in stock. It was pretty punchy, but I found it actually didn't last more than a few months. I don't know whether someone bumped my car, or if I just got a bad lamp but I was disappointed that it didn't last very long at all.

In the few years I spent working at the VW shop I was at, I pretty much came to the conclusion that headlamps are one of the few parts that adhere to the, "you get what you pay for," rule ( ... )

you know there's a much closer target in el cerrito, right? that doesn't require driving through richmond? :D

Yep... long story, but I ended up sort of drifting through Richmond, trying to make my way back to the freeway, and stumbled on the Target. In MV, there were 2 of them really close by, and one always carried what the other didn't, so I figured I'd go see what the Richmond store was doing differently from the Albany store, since I had some spare time and needed to do a Target run anyway.
