In short:

My dad found out Monday that it wasn't all in our heads and that he was on the chopping block. It was one of those, "we don't want to let you go, so if you sign your new contract on March 1st for half of your current pay, we may keep you." 1. Shit, dude. WTF, work?!
2. I have all the same complaints about facebook. I still insist that communication must be done in the real world and that any invites I receive on myspace or facebook will probably be missed or not considered valid as it just isn't a good way to communicate, imo.
3. We should go out for dinner and commiseration. I'll drive.

Just don't forget to accept my invite (and to have Erin accept mine) because it'd be nice to have at least half of my friend list being people I feel I know and who are on both sites. Our friends are great, but it's bizarre how many of them found me on Facebook in the first few hours after never attempting to on the 'Space.

Dinner sometime soon is high on the list.
