Mucho thanks to the two of you who I had dinner with on Friday night and stepped in to pick me up when my "date" for the evening flaked (predictably) at the last second. A small threesome (not that, sickos!) and relaxed conversation was just what I needed and something I'll take every rare chance I get it.

Hope you found some treasures at Circuit City. I quickly came to the conclusion that the meat I was looking for had been picked from the bones long before my arrival. Sorry I didn't say bye. I didn't see you and assumed you'd split.

I found one CD that interested me, but there were a number of DVD's that I'd considered picking up when they were released (The Strangers, Dark Knight) that they have plenty of copies of and if they're still there at 50 or even 60% I'll gladly snatch them up. Other than that, the only item that I considered was a stereo receiver, because although my D.I. score works well, it'd be nice to have something with enough audio inputs that I don't have to keep taking one out when I want to listen to something else.

I'm sure I'll pop in at least a few more times before they close.
