2009 started off slow for live music for me. Aside from Sundance, I've been to just one concert this year, and that was during Sundance from a Sundance artist. The final eight months or so more than make up for this as a lot of great musicians are coming to town this spring and summer. I can't begin to figure out who I'm most excited for. Half of my study group wasn't in class yesterday so I have to try and catch them tomorrow and nail down a time for Saturday. If worst comes to worst, do you mind paying for a ticket at the door if I can go? It looks like that might be the only way to commit at this point.

I have no problem paying at the door. Since it'll be cheaper than buying at Smith's, it's what I'll be doing.

I'm not sure what to do about the situation if you aren't able to be there when doors open, since I always get in line early to get a good spot in front of the stage. I'm not even sure of an official door time. Based solely on the half dozen or so shows, I can bet doors will open sometime between 6:30 and 7. I doubt they'll be on time with a 6:30 opening, so I'd imagine 6:45 to 7.
