Hey stranger! Glad to see you live and posting updates! Haven't had something from you for *starts counting on fingers, but gives up and starts using toes*....a while. ;). Sorry your time in PA wasn't much fun. Hopefully if you make it back to the area again, it will be better. On the flip side, congrats on the success with singing! Having some professional stability is a great feeling. :). Lastly, looking forward to more of your updates and I hope you enjoy the works from secret chlex. We had some really great stuff there!

It's definitely nice feeling secure about paying the bills, especially in my line of work. I definitely have been lucky in these people finding me. My main worry is getting sick these days. I don't exactly have paid sick days. LOL.
Sorry to hear about your Aunt Monica and the other live one being "difficult". As for saving voice mails to preserve the sound of a voice, I don't find it morbid, just very sentimental and sadly realistic. Don't worry about it as long as it brings you comfort and isn't taking over your life. It's really not so different than taking a picture to preserve an image.

True. I guess I just see it as morbid because I'm always worrying who's next at times like these. I will relax into it in a month or so, knowing my little grieving pattern by now.
And awww! I know I don't have to bring fic to come around. I just feel weird when I don't have any. I feel the same way about parties. I must bring something!
I just saw I never replied to this. Life's definitely feeling shorter, the older I get. I don't like it, this feeling that someone I love could be next and soon, but it's hard to shake off. My grandmother used to say that, as you get older, even your happier times are more bittersweet and it's so true.
