Summary: France says good bye to a famous thinker
“Your thoughts were a gift that I shall miss. Though you spent most of your life away from me, I was always followed you.” The blond gentleman said as he laid a single rose on the coffin.
Many of those around him paid little attention to him; some for lack of interest and some because they simply did not know what he was saying.
Beside him stood two other men; both tall, blond, and with stern faces. One wore glasses and had a foreboding presence; the other seemed more disinterested with what was going on.
“Rest in peace my precious Descartes.” The man said as he bowed his head and went to stand next to the other two gentlemen.
“H’ w’s a g’od t’ach’r.” The bespectacled one said as the coffin was slowly lowered into the ground. “Chr’st’na l’ked h’m.” He added as he patted the shorter man’s shoulder.
“He certainly had interesting ideals; wasn’t much of a fighter though.” The other man said, voice holding a slight note of sorrow. “He was a good guy though.”
“He was.” The first man said as the coffin was finally lowered and began to disappear under mounds of dirt. “I shall miss him.” He turned to his to companions then with a smile as the three began to walk off. “Come Sweden, Holland, big brother shall treat you both to drinks in memory of a great thinker!”

A/N:
- Descartes spent a lot of his life in the Netherlands, even joining the Dutch army and he died in Sweden. This is why I included those two.
