Lovino sat down on Antonio's couch. He really wasn't looking forward to the shower. Gifts, hugs, squeals of congratulations -he knew he wouldn't hear the end of it tonight. Sighing, he grabbed a handful of candy from a bowl on the table in front of him and leaned back into the couch, making himself at home ( ... )

[HWAAH That was so cute <3]

Once Antonio finished tidying the house up a bit, he walked over to Lovino said, "LOVI, THOSE ARE FOR-mmpf. HOLD ON."

At that, he ran toward the bathroom and emptied his stomach into the toilet. He thought that maybe Lovino saying being pregnant wasn't fun was true now, but it only barely cracked the surface of his dense mind.

After brushing his teeth he headed back into the living room to sit down next to Lovino on the couch, "Are you excited about the shower~?" He asked, a grin lighting up his face.

[T-thank you XD]

Lovino made a disgusted face as he sat, listening to the retching sounds coming from the bathroom. He was glad, however, that the idiot made it there on time.

After a few minutes passes by, Antonio returned back to his seat beside Lovino and asked him if he was excited about the shower.

"No," was the sour reply he got.

Sweden was standing outside the door of Lovino and Antonio's house having last second doubts. While he had been around for almost all of Spain's pregnancy he wasn't exactly close to either nation, and hadn't really been all that talkative. He took a deep breath, remindimg himself that Finland would be coming in a minute and would be worried about why he was still outside, and rang the doorbell.

After being let in he handed Antonio a present "'S fr'm me n' Tino, he's c'ming." He sat down on a loveseat to wait for Finland.

[Do you mind if I just like group you and Finland's response thinger together? xD]

"Awwww, how nice of you guys to come, and thank you so much for the gift~" Antonio sets the gift down on a near by table and makes his way back to the couch with Lovino.

"Ehh, sorry about your boots, Tino." There was an akward silence, but obviously it was lost on Antonio.

"How have you guys been lately?" He asked with a smile.

Finland quickly jogged up to the door of Spain's and Southern Italy's house and knocked cheerfully. "Hello?" The door was opened by a smiling Antonio, who managed to make it through greeting Finland before vomiting on his shoes. Finland stared in shock at his shoes and then at Antonio, before saying, "It's a good thing I wore boots today!"
He helped Lovino clean up the mess, before taking off his boots and going inside, choosing to sit next to Sweden. An awkward silence almost descended upon the four nations, but Finland was determined to fill it, asking Antonio all sorts of questions about the pregnancy and trying not to scare him too badly with horror stories from his own pregnancy.

(I have no idea why, but every time I typed Antonio in that post I first typed Antonia. It was quite annoying.)

He'd known about the pregnancy a bit longer than some other people had; he -had- provided Spain with the pregnancy test, after all, and even if he hadn't, China had a son. He'd certainly known when he was pregnant with Siberia; thusly, he would have recognized that Spain was pregnant relatively early on. He sighed lightly, merely placing a gift-wrapped box on the table that contained the rest of them and standing awkwardly in a corner. With luck, America would be here, and Russia wouldn't. Plus, being around pregnant people was awkward. It just was ( ... )

England tugged at his tie as he pressed the doorbell of the house and waited for a response - was wearing a suit too formal for a baby shower? He wasn't too sure. He shifted the small box from his left hand to his right, still somewhat surprised that he was at a baby shower for *Spain's* baby. Especially when he could vaguely remember having a conversation about Spain wanting a baby not-so-long ago too...

England sighed. This was probably going to be one big awkward gathering...
