Ve~ It was great Grandpa came to visit, but not great to know that they had a last minute party to set up. 'Ding' Oh the cookies are done. *pulls them out and place them on a cooling rack* Romano was ready to kill grandpa if it wasn't for the fact that he had a huge basket of tomatoes he gave to him. Though it was odd, it had Spain's name on the side of the basket....*shrug shoulders* Whatever.

(First one!!)(I hope no one minds)

England shifted his weight from one foot to the other as he stood outside Italy's house. It had been a little short notice so instead of worrying about his appearance he had just shown up in his usual sweater-vest and tie combo with smart trousers, but now that he was here he had to wonder whether this would be more of a casual affair. England shook his head. It didn't matter now anyway.

Setting down his bag for a moment (it contained small trinkets for each nation - he had managed the cost by partially making them himself... It was a recession afterall, and he found embroidery rather soothing) so that he could pull off his gloves and ring the doorbell.

Romano sat in the kitchen, enjoying the delicious tomatoes he had been given by someone he'd rather not admit. He wasn't too pleased about having guests, but at least there would be good food. Just as he was about to grab another of the shiny red fruit, he heard the rather uninviting ding of the doorbell. Seeing that his brother was too immersed in baking cookies to answer it, he unenthusiastically decided he might as well get the door himself. The Italian eventually made his slow way to the door, muttering unintelligible curses under his breath along the way. He turned the lock and then the handle, pulling the door open, to find no one other then England before him.

"OI, NONNO! THE HELL DID YOU INVITE THIS BASTARD OVER FOR!? D-damn it." Romano was quick to escape back into the kitchen, leaving the Englishman to stand alone in the cold.

England blinked, having been left at the door, and muttered to himself grumpily about hospitality and manners as he stepped into the house. Though he did admit to himself that it was a small wonder in itself that Romano hadn't slammed the door in his face in his haste.

Catching sight of Prussia's back, England followed him through the hall and swiped a can of beer from him, nodding at the other when he had caught his attention. "Prussia; it's been a while!"

England rolled his eyes, but high fived the other back with a wry gin. "I'd be up for that; I'll drink you under the table!"

Then another thought struck him. "Drinking games... We can get everyone in on it and watch them make prats of themselves..." He snapped his can open and took a swig before looking back at the Prussian, still grinning. "We get a head start since we got here first, of course. What do you say?"

[[XD Maybe its the secret handshake for the Fail!bros trio? We need to get Denmark in on it too~ XD]]

Australia decided to join the party. He was interested to meet many of different nations attending there and he wanted to socialize with them. Feeling that he should not go empty-handed, he brought with him a bottle of wine and a meat pie with vegs inside.

Wondering if the Italies would like the gifts, he rang the doorbell, trying not to drop anything with his koala squirming on his back.

(Apparently, Australia's wine industry is quite well known and are in top 10 of the wine-producers in the world.)

Rome swung the door open, and blinked at the stranger on the other side. The young man bore an uncanny resemblance to Britannia*, but was considerable rougher around the edges, and seemed to have a small bear of some sort slinging to his shoulder. He was about to shut the door again, but he caught sight of the wine bottle in the boy's hand, and changed his mind. Anyone who brought wine couldn't be a bad sort!

"Salve~! Are you one of Britannia's boys?" He crowed, clapping a hand on the unoccupied shoulder and propelling the other man through the door.

((*disregard the headcanon: Rome would so still call his former provinces by their latin names))

He gave a smile to Rome as he nodded his head. "Yes I am, mate. You must be both of the Italians' Grandfather. The name's Australia."

He goes for a handshake on Rome's hand, not forgetting to at least show some sort of formality even though he was used on doing casual and relaxed greetings when meeting with the others. Holding both the wine bottle the meat & vegs. pie in both of his hands, wondering whether he should put the food straight on the serving tables or just in the kitchen.

"I brought some grub over here. Hope is alright with you. Where shall I put them?"

Furrowing his brow Germany stared at his Blackberry. He actually liked being invited by his cheery Italian...friend. Even a christmas party sounded endurable -at least they shared a lot of traditions and the chance to do something offending was quite low. However the mentions of Italy's "family" rather put a damp on his christmas spirit.
He sighed, put away his Blackberry and got out of the car, bringing with him some beer and self-made Stollen (not really a great combination, but he figured that some of the more southern nations already would bring wine).
Slowly he got up to the backdoor that Italy had once before told him to use and simply entered the kitchen through it.

Minutes before Germany came in the back. Italy had turned on his Mp3 player that America gotten him and popped the ear buds in as he played the new cd Germany gotten him. Hm the group had a odd name um Tokio Hotel.... it sounded more like Japan's band then Germany's. Oh he like this song! *hums to it and continue cooking last bit of food left as the door clicks open*

(Never thought that was coming huh? ^_^ )

A bit unsure Germany stood in the kitchen, facing Italy's back. He seemed not to have realized him coming in.
He coughed once to make his presence known.

[Tokio Hotel...the worst band Germany has ever produced X_x; ]

"Oh Germany." Italy bounce over to the man and hugged him.
"I'm glad you came! Oh you want to taste a bit of my cooking?" He held out the spoon to Germany to taste a bit.

America wandered into the room, still texting furiously on his phone. At other times, sure. He'd be chatting it up but right now he was having a very intense argument on why penguins were better than pipes with Russia. And then he tripped.

Simply happening to walk past an open doorway, Lovino glaced through it, smirking whiling giving a rather loud and rude, "Hah." to the American lying on the groud. He then proceeded to leave him there. Perhaps if that idiot wasn't as stupid as to not look where he was walking he wouldn't make as big of a fool of himself.

[OOC: LOL IT'S ALL GOOD~ A-and I don't even know if this is still going on, so don' feel required t reply.]

Alfred shot out a hand and grabbed the person walking away, "So not nice," Alfred frowned, looking up, "Leaving the hero alone on the floor without offering to help?"

Alfred pulled himself up using the other man to prop himself up. Dusting himself off, Alfred looked around with a small frown.

"Shit, where's my phone?" D:
