[runs up to the Odessa airport terminal wearing a rather fancy dress and heels she's still trying to get used to]

[the flight is on time and has just landed]

[it's the usual hubbub inside as everyone tries to grab their luggage and file out - Turkey gets his carry-on from an overhead compartment, checks his watch, and waits to exit the aircraft]

[doesn't know which flight he's on]

[her airline has a flight from Istanbul but he'd probably be on his airline... but that one isn't on the monitor!]

[winks at the pretty flight attendants on his way out - they were friendly and got to chatting and know he's going to visit his girlfriend]

[stretches as soon as he has the space to do so inside and tries to find the baggage claim]

[she'll be there... right?]

[they're all too used to Turks coming to Ukraine for "morale tours"]

[still doesn't know which flight he's on but waits outside baggage claim with a little Turkish flag]

[gets distracted by some of the other people waiting]

[taking the whole place in as he strolls to baggage]

[he's dressed fairly casually today and without his mask because even he knows mask + airport = bad idea]

[spots a flash of red ahead through the crowd]

[she's just outside of baggage talking with a family who came from America's home]

[doesn't see him]

[walks by]

[does a double take]

[he's probably noticed the red tulips she's been trying to hide as she doesn't recognize him walking by]

[stands watching the door]

[walks up behind her]

Merhaba, Miss. See him yet~?

[jumps and drops everything to the ground!]

[bends down to pick it up for her with a laugh]

I-I didn't see you walk out.

[helps him]

[holds the tulips out to her]

[pushes it towards him]

[clears her throat]
