part 36 is a particularly good finder

Did we max in a day? Or am I just confused and bad at dates? Though there was quite a bit of RP (puppies!) this part, so maybe that explains the super fast maxing. So strange! Anyway... ahh, summer is almost over, can you believe it? I hope everyone's ready to go back to school, or whatever your plans are for the fall! until then, party like it's ( Read more... )

There seems to have been some misunderstandings on the subject of these torcs-that-are-not-collars. Okay, in the first place, torcs are symbols of HIGH ESTEEM in my traditions, all right? A sign of nobility and high social status: a decoration awarded to warriors for their deeds in battle. Look at it! It's pretty! It's made of gold! It's jewelry, is what it fucking is. Manly jewelry.

All right, the spells. Three sets of three spells, to bind, to guard and to bless. Granted, the spells of Llyr, and the spell of Mabon, and the spell of Gwair do end up making the torc impossible to remove, but that's a side-effect! Mostly they're to bring him good fortune!

It was supposed to be a gift.

OOC: I'll owe a favor - a dare or a drabble - for anyone who can trace where those spells come from

Either get frisky with Canada in RP, or write something short where Canada uses old tribal magic and England uses his magick to do something to France or America :P

The fairies had been the ones to call him, chiming his name in their bell-like tones - not Britannia, or England, or Albion, or the UK, but some sparkling collection of notes that managed to suggest the green of his eyes and hills, the smell of rain and the sea - and told him to go across the seas, to the lands of his twins ( ... )

OOC: *grins* Glad you like it, and this creepo England wouldn't play well with an RP Canada anyway. (am more a writer than an RPer I think....) There's a bunch wrong with it, but maybe I'll go back and polish it more (and continue) and repost it. TBH I was wonder if I shouldn't post this on a new thread in case you didn't see it here on this old one, but felt kinda embarassed and attention-seeky. Glad you found it. :D

<3 the ONLY thing I saw in it that wasn't quite right was the bit about Canada bordering 2 oceans. We've got the Arctic too!!

:D But it had that lovely flavour you put into your RPing. PM me and let me know what your regular journal is! I really like what you write!

Hope you don't mind if i don't use PM - my inbox is always flooded with meme notifications so I never use PM. ;_; And tbh, I've just now realized that all my fanworks have been done on the memes, so it's always anon - I've posted nothing under a name. OTL I think I may have forgotten a bunch of fills I've done.... damn.

Also, I'd forgotten about that. D'oh. Keep thinking in terms of East (Atlantic) and West (Pacific). I'll put that in.

I don't think any magic is as strong as yours.

This magic seems...childish.
