I can see it has a horn... and it's pretty, too.

Haltijas are magical creatures. I think one could take a shape of such a horse as this "unicorn"...

Well there are maaany different kind of Haltijas. Like the forest has it own and so do the lakes and the houses and the meadows and... everything. Some of them can take shapes of different things like humans or animals.

There are other diffrences, the tails aren't very horse like.
Also apparently you can use it's horn to cure poison. but that'd probably require killing it. So it's probaly not worth it. That and it's a horrible thing to do anyway.

So they're like some kind of spirit? Unicorns stay the same shape, though.

Haltijas are like guardian spirits, yes. If you're friends with them they'll help you and take care of you, but if you make them angry they'll play tricks on you.
