Happy Part 60! It feels like our birthday or something. Our old, cane-waving birthday. With a prune birthday cake.
Please enjoy part 60! :)

"Pi...rozhki"? Hey, I've had those things before; I'd love to try some. If they're not too sweet, that is... never liked sweet stuff much, y' see.

...What is name, friend?

My name? Well, people call me lots of names! You can call me Temujin, if you like. What's your name?
(OOC: "Temujin" was Genghis Khan's birth name, and has always traditionally been extremely popular in Mongolia. I figured it was the natural choice for Mongolia's "human" first name. Fun fact: naming your son "Temujin" was forbidden during the Soviet era. Yowza, Russia, grudge much?)

...Mmm. Is... familiar name.
[ooc: RUSSIA IS ANGRY MAN. And thanks for the lesson~!]

...Familiar? Really? Not many people other than mine know it. I'm so happy you recognize it! [hopefully, to self] ...Maybe the world's starting to notice me again? Just a little bit?
It's a pretty famous name, where I come from. Belonged to... well, a really famous guy. Great guy. Loved him a lot. Still miss him, a bit. Those were the days.

...My name is famous too, where I am from.
I am Ivan.
[maybe smiling a biiiit too wide]

[Has been living alone for many years, and his social finesse has atrophied badly; he fails to notice the smile]

I am Russia.

[sloowly turns around]
[very bad feeling.]

...Ahaha... haha... What? I... I don't get it. You wanna run that by me again?

I am Russia.
Has been some time, da...?

I mean, now that you've mentioned it, you do look like him-you could probably be his brother, actually-but the Russia I know is... well, he's a bit different.
I'm very confused. Please, don't look at me like that.

And I remember all you did to me.
Reply
But... it's been so long since I did anything to you-hundreds of years! I was under your government for nearly half of this past century, in fact...
Some things from my Imperial era are... difficult for me to think about, these days. Must you open old wounds, whoever you are?
Reply
You were never under my government...
Reply
Don't you see? You can't be Russia if you don't remember all of that! ...Frankly, I think you're just as confused as I am, right now. Please calm down.
