I'm in a very October-y mood... or, well, more of a Halloween mood. I'm excited for Halloween... I wish it would get here sooner. :D In any case, I hope your Octobers are going well so far!

1) Keep on the look out for any suspicious people. These could be child abductors dressed in halloween costumes. When trick-or-treating in a Spanish neighborhood, be extra cautious of unknown males.
2) Make sure to travel in groups during the halloween time to minimize the chances of any unfortunate incident or of even being pranked by your friends.
3) Don't let your children go out for trick or treating by themselves. Send an adult with them and tell him or her to accompany the kids at all times.
4) Make sure the kids are collecting candies which are safe to eat. Suspicious candies, such as black licorice, should be checked before consumption.
5) Watch out for the fast moving cars in the neighborhood and follow the traffic rules. You never know when a drunk Prussian driver might head your way ( ... )

Your parents won't allow you to go? I've certainly heard of cautious parents like that, but that's a shame.

And I don't really celebrate Halloween, either. It seems interesting, but it never really hit me enough to become like Christmas or Midsummer, you see.
