part 79 knows the simple bear necessities

Nov 12, 2009 01:32

I haven't seen the Disney Jungle Book movie in a long time, I have no idea why the song is stuck in my head. It was even in a dream, so weird. Can you believe it's basically mid-November? It seems like time is going by so quick this year. Well, anyway. :)

Enjoy part 79!

Saddest... comes right after the happiest. I guess there is a some sort of a balance there. After my independence I had a civil war. [ Looks down, smiling a bit more sadly now. ] It was very painful and I don't wish for something like that to ever happen again...

[ Shakes his head a bit, smiling like normally again. ]

But yes, salmiakki. Here you go, anon! [ Hands anon a box of Fazer's salmiakki. ]

Ahh, thank you for the info ;3;
[feels guilty for making him remember painful things]
Um, you were declared the world's most prosperous nation, so I think your citizens are happy and you don't need to worry about something like that for the near future!

Thanks~ I always hear it has a peculiar taste…

You're welcome! I'm happy that you listened.

Yes, I'm happy that I'm doing well these days. Even though swine flu worries me a bit... it's really becoming an epidemic over here.

Don't worry, it's actually very tasty!

Of course, I was the one who asked you after all, hehe.

And you score really high on PISA tests! I wish my country would take a leaf out of your book. Yeah, that's becoming a big problem all over the world. I'm surprised I didn't come down with it myself yet.

… That's what Sweden says about his Surströmming, too ;;

Seeing the PISA scores always makes me feel proud of my youth. They're so clever~.

...well it's a completely different matter with that, anon...

Marimekko! I actually bought an apron in exactly THAT pattern when I last visited you. I never use it, but it still makes my kitchen soooo much prettier because Marimekko fuck yes!

Also, I wish I could find something half the equivalent of that egg-bread-stuff thing you've got there. That was reeeeeally tasty.

AAAAAH what are you doing to me! Now I want to go back ;3;

I really love Marimekko's designs! The clothes are really nice and look good and I have a ton of other handy things made by them. I'm pretty sure I have an apron with the poppies design somewhere...

Would you want some now? I have lots of everything, so I'm happy to share.

Just as according to "suunnitelma". You're always welcome, anon~.

I love that pattern so much! I kicked myself for weeks for buying an apron instead of a purse. That would have been more useful, seriously. But they were kind of expensive and I REALLY had to get that Snuffkin-mug adsfksdf

Oh I'd love some. I wished I knew how to make them myself, but I tried once and failed so epically ahaha let's not talk about that.

It's all coming back omg so much yearning right now! Tölöö pretty much was my favorite place EVER. And then we went to a friend's mökki and we had fish on bread and sauna and ... dear lord, I'm rambling.

Just you wait. one day I'll come back.

It's my favourite too! I like the stripe designs, too. And getting a Snufkin mug was certainly worth it! I have a full collection of Moomin mugs. ♥

[ Hands anon one. ] Well it can be a bit tricky for the first time. You can always try again!

During the summer going to mökki is just the best. I always end up spending almost every weekend in the wilderness during summer and enjoying being so close to nature.

I'll be waiting for it, anon!

I also got a little My mug and cup a few weeks later adsfjasdf they're some of my most treasured posessions <3

Oh, why thank you so much! I lost my recipe, and also forgot how those things were called. So doing these next opportunity. And how embarrassing, it's not the filling that is egg-stuff, but the spread. Clearly, it's been too long.

The mökki was great! The mosquitoes not so much. Good grief, you've got a lot of those pests.

I always start my day by drinking some coffee from a Moomin mug~.

You're welcome! Karelian pasties are very delicious so I hope they'll turn out fine this time.

Haha, I think you get used to those with time? And as I don't really have any that dangerous animals at least not when compared to Australia I'm quite content with a few mosquitoes now and then...

I do! The colours are so pretty and you can use the leaves to make wreaths and other decorations!

[ Picks a red maple leaf and hands it to Poland. ] They are! The shape is really nice and they come in so many different colours, too.
