[extends his hand for Russia to shake]
Excuse me for being so blunt, but there's no use in dancing around the issue... are you communist?

да, товарищ. (yes, comrade) Hello to you.

I... see. Still, welcome to the meme. Probably we will find a way to all get along despite our differences... I, for one, am more than willing to work on that.
Oh and the celebrations are Amerika's Thanksgiving festivities.

Is there a problem, Германия? (Germaniya) I would love to get along with you.
....ah, Америка.[decides to leave it at that simple comment - which speaks for a thousand words.]
Reply
No, not directly; it's only that deplorably the two other communist Russlands I encountered wouldn't stop causing trouble on the meme and harming other nations as well as anons. -- But please don't believe that I would just lump you with them without getting to know you first. I'm not that unreasonable.
[looks up with an open expression, willing away his tiredness]
And maybe you are willing to give me the same chance. We might be able to build on that.

[Wonders if they were trying to annex the other nations? He too, wants a big family. A big, happy family. A big, happy, willing family.]
I would love to get to know you, respectable Германия. The feeling is mutual. I, too, do not like to be too quick to judge - being the foremost victim of such a counterproductive attitude.
[still holding the hand, he squeezes it. How odd, even with the gloves it still feels warm. He likes warmth. A lot. The smile seems to be making Germany more comfortable - perhaps it is working?]

Yes, sadly we couldn't manage to gain any common ground for fruitful discussion. Maybe I should have tried harder, but it seemed rather hopeless to begin with.
[swallows, still slightly uncomfortable, but only because with their history and personal / cultural differences it's hard to create a relaxed atmosphere]
Thank you very much for that. I agree completely on how counterproductive overhasty judgement is; let us avoid this mistake from the beginning.
[smiles back with real confidence, not actually having expected his approach to be that successful]
For now this would be all from my side; I can only assure you once more of how glad I am for our cooperation. Is there anything else I might be able to help you with at the moment? Otherwise I'd say I'll be glad to see you around the meme.

...can I have a hug,Германия?
[apparently it is normal in some parts of Europe. That is nice, it's warm. It looks like Germany needs some warmth.]
Reply
[has been somewhat besides himself since one of the anons appeared to be worried sick about him and deemed him in a terrible condition earlier, but of course he's not intent on letting that show]
[is taken aback by Russia's sudden request]
A... a hug?
[hesitates for a second, but clearly this is not the trust needed to improve international relations, so he mans up, opens his arms and tentatively wraps them around Russia]
Of course.

It's ok,да?
[so warm. He likes this. He understands why many Europeans like doing this. He completely ignores the thought of America trying to pop up in his mind. He has no idea about the embarassment he is causing to the other, nor how awkward this may look.]

...
[begins to simultaneously feel more awkward and strangely comforted as Russia pats his back, but just as he is about to relax a little remembers how much work he still has to take care of and carefully lets go]
Ah... thank you once more, Russland. I have to leave now, but I am very much looking forward to our future interworking.
[gives him a small (if slightly strained) smile, nods politely and walks away]
