part 89 is in a christmas carol

Dec 03, 2009 20:48

It's December, so, naturally I've watched about 8 different versions of A Christmas Carol in the past few days. The Muppet Christmas Carol is still my favorite, though. How much better can you get than Kermit the frog as Bob Cratchett? ... not much better, I tell you what. Anyway! AHHHH one more part until part 90. I've probably said it 38974 times ( Read more... )

Ah, blue.

Do you like the snow, then?

[ruffles your hair in greeting] Hey there.

Mm-hm. The last time it happened my brother and I had an actual snowball fight. We didn't even notice how we couldn't feel our hands 'till we got back inside...♥

[Hey, about that thread I made about the therapy. I didn't see your comment before I left, and for a while afterward I didn't get a chance to talk to you, but I wanted to say thanks. It really made me feel better to read it. So, ah, thank you. ;3;]

[ruffled]

Do you think it'll ever snow in this place?

[OOC: Ah, I assumed the lack of reply was because you'd gone - how did it go? (if you're comfortable with saying it here)glad i helped you feel better though. ;3; /hugs]

Of course. Can't have the obligatory Christmas celebrations without any snow! S'just not proper.

Speaking of Christmas, can I ask you something?

It went pretty well, all said. It was just the first meeting though, so mostly the lady talked about goal setting and legal explanations. It's always nice when people you know care about your problems, yeah? /hugs back]

Heh, guess it does happen in the right part of winter.

Ah, what is that?

[ooc: Good - good luck with the other meetings, then.-3-7 And, yeah - it is ;3;]

Definitely. Christmas and snow are the only reasons I put up with temperatures below fifty degrees. Brrr.

Um. That is- it's Christmas time, you know? Free Stuff Day. But I don't know what to get for a few people. America, for instance. I've been contemplating just roasting an entire cow for the guy, but I'm not that good at cooking.

[Thanks bro.♥]

What about making a fire to warm up by, hmm?

Ah - does he like beef, then? I could always help if you have trouble with that. If you can't get a cow, what other things does he like?

[ooc: You're welcome.♥]

I'd get in too much trouble. Nah, I just need to wear warmer clothes- scarves and gloves, if I can find the stupid things.

He certainly likes food, that's for sure. I've seen him salivate over beef in particular, though. So he likes you, and food, and... I don't know what else. He's got sort of a one-track mind.

But how will you warm your house?

He eats almost all the time so that one's clear. Hmm, maybe there's a way of getting some answers out of him without being too obvious

A heater of course. And if you don't know what that is: it's a big gray box that runs on tiny lightning and does exactly what it sounds like. And it won't burn your house down!

Could you indirectly ask him for me? I don't think he'd open up to me all that well.

I see, I think my older self may have one of those in his house. He had something that looked like a big grey box.

Which America do you want me to ask? And why do you thnk that?

[nods] That was probably it, then. Useful, those.

Yours of course. The spelled one. He doesn't really trust me at all- your little servant's been telling him not to talk to me practically since day one. I'm pretty sure she was the one who told him I ate babies. :/

I don't understand her. If she's my servant, why don't I remember acquiring any servants?

I'll try when I see him. And I'll dispel the baby eating myth whilst I'm at it.

She's like a cat. You didn't choose her; she chose you. Come to think of it, I need to get her a gift too.

[hugs] I appreciate it.

I see. What kind of gift. And I'd better get some gifts together too, hmm.

[hugs back]It'll also help me choose my gift to him.

Yep. I was thinking I'd give her a necklace- something elegant, you know? If you want to. You're small, so no one's going to expect you to do anything. Little kids mostly just receive the gifts.

[sqeezes] Just remember to tell me. Don't want us getting the same thing!
