So, today we have Sibelius I like the end of the alphabet, ta very much, with his Karelia Suite, Violin Concerto in D minor and three other pieces, Finlandia, The Swan of Tuonela and Andante Festivo.

He is a great Finnish composer, back end of the Romantic era, and you can really tell that in his works.

No, there's nothing in particular that I'm looking for. I don't really know much about classical music, despite having had piano lessons when I was younger... I'm just downloading and sampling the stuff you're sharing so I really appreciate it. I like listening to them while I'm doing homework.

Teehee, I do love sharing music, and it's really good you're listening then~! There are some pieces that are like... a world within a world really. Stravinsky's especially good for that sort of thing, but I need to sort that bit of my music library out right.

Protip: Finlandia is probably my favourite piece by Sibelius, he's a great composer, but that one piece moved the Finns so much... It's become something of a National anthem to them. Or so I've heard.
