part 120 moons

Jan 29, 2010 22:20

... that's a lot of moons.

The Moon looks so cool right now, though! It's like below zero outside so I just peeked through a window. I've always loved the Moon. And Mars. But the Moon on a cold night when it's really big and crisp is so interesting to me.

Enjoy part (oh wow) 120! :)

(PS - There is a holiday anon meme gift event going on here* ( Read more... )

[comes rushing in late, looking kind of awful after having spent a sleepless night trying to keep zombie dog Italy from eating his brain / limbs / pillows and the rest of the day attempting to get him back to normal]

[lights up at seeing the other Germany; here's hoping to the conference going somewhere and getting organized after all]

Order in the room! Will you keep order?!

[had a neat list of points compiled, but at this point his headache is nasty enough to thwart this plan for now]

Ah, other me!

[Sighs in relief] It's alright, I've been trying to keep discussion focused. As difficult as it is.

I'm very glad you are here.

[sighs half in relief, half in frustration]

See, I'm sorry, I was held up with Italien and Ägypten...

[goes through his papers one-handedly while simultaneously massaging his temple]

Ah, maybe we should address the matter of the zombie epidemic that seems to be going around - if that hasn't already been discussed. Apart from Italien's case I heard of an England being infected as well, but I haven't been able to get this confirmed... however I highly suspect the anon who killed Süditalien and baked him into pie to have something to to with it.

Otherwise I'd like to speak with discipline anon, but I guess I won't have much of a chance of finding her now, so I'll look for her later.

Is there any task I can take over from you right now?

Would this be the... 'undead' Italy? How is he?

I can already confirm the small England has been infected, but I haven't really seen anyone else... On the other hand, some form of quarantine could help reassure the populace and keep what threat there is under control.

... As for help, any assistance you could provide would be appreciated - be it taking notes or dealing with some of the less relevant issues.

He is... well enough I'd say, but he has been constantly hungry and regarding his state this could become a danger for others.

[pushes his hair back with both hands]

I didn't mean to turn him into a dog! I just wanted to... ugh.

Excuse me, I think I just need sleep and maybe some aspirin. [rubs at the dark circles under his eyes]

A quarantaine sounds most reasonable, but where should we install the quarantaine area? Does the meme have any convenient locations for such an undertaking?

And yes, I'll take some notes and take care of what I can. Hopefully I'll be at my full capacities again tomorrow; then I'll catch up on everything and help with the votings et cetera.

Turn him into a--

What!? How exactly did this happen!?

You-- you hadn't caught on-- my bad! I'm sorry, I thought I had managed to get that part across.

See, with the constant... let me call it supernatural epidemics on the meme I had thought it wise to educate myself on these matters, so I purchased a kind of spell book. The seller seemed reliable and the book's contents comprehensive, so I... I attempted to turn Italien back into a living country when I learned of him having become a zombie.

It, ah, turns out that we Germanies should probably better stick to logistic and mechanic processes.

[coughs]

I'm working on getting him fixed, of course! Maybe we'll have to get an England to take a look at him. In any case the course of events has been rather unfortunately, but not irredeemable. Please try not to get too upset about it.

S-something so illogical shouldn't be possible in the first place!

... Though maybe illogical problems require illogical solutions... Ahh, and only after all rational ideas have been exhausted.

I was trying to figure out how to change him back from being a zombie, myself, so... So having both of us working on it may mean a solution is reached faster! I'll see if I can contact England to see if he can be of assistance.

I'm... Disturbed. Yes, disturbed is a better word.

That's essentially what I thought about the whole case, but when I undesignedly got involved in all these... well, "supernatural" elements I saw myself forced to adapt to an extent. Still I feel all but comfortable in the area, and after this recent mishap with Italien I'd rather leave it to the adepts altogether.

Still, as we both will do what we can to find a viable solution for his dilemma I'm positive that one will be found shortly. Let us talk to everybody who might be in the know about such cases.

[is rather disturbed as well, but doesn't want to dig this uncanny valley any deeper]

Ah, understood.

I'll keep in touch and let you know if I find anything. Please be sure to do the same.

Of course.

Let me also suggest that either of us take care of any afflicted persons we may encounter and take them to the specialists that will hopefully have been found before long.

I'll be sure to.

I understand Italy... Being a dog now, is transmitting this infection through bites more easily than when he was humanoid. We should put out a warning to advise people to keep their distance.

[starts massaging his temples again, briefly closing his eyes]

Warnings? By all means, yes. I will try to stay with him and keep an eye on him whenever I can. It's the least I can do seeing how I have contributed to the current problem.

But as you said before, together we will certainly get everything under control before long. I feel like I have a better perspective now; it was good we met.

[Nods] Mm, as will I.

Now we just need to make sure we keep our efforts coordinated and I'm certain we can fix this in no time at all.

Right. We will make good work of it.

[gives him a heartened nod]
