You can't even say that, you have no "ch".

The "ch" sound should begin at about 3:00!

And wonderful, now the thread is long enough to attract attention. I shouldn't have answered in the first place.

B-buuhyoo! Now you've got to give me time to record one as well! Not to be a complete ass, but your pronunciation leaves something to be desired... you know ILU regardless, right? RIGHT? ;3;

Ahaha it's expected, there's nothing in English or Cantonese like it... what is it missing?

"Sch" is pronounced like the English "sh", a sharp sound where you press the air out between your teeth... and I have no example for "ch", orz

I did do the "sh" sound, I guess it's not evident enough?

I can almost hear an "i" right after the Ts, as in "Schmitthien"... or are my ears just untrained orz

Probably your pronunciation is just too soft for my (used-to-harsh-sounds) ear, haha!

Hm, it probably isn't unlike that for a foreign speaker, but for "ch"-users the sound is so distinctive that we wouldn't hear an "i".

And reading it again; Jesus Christ, did I ever sound like an entitled asshole throughout this thread, just because I can pronounce a "ch"?! Oh man, I'm so sorry! orz orz orz

I-it's late/early over here..! Yes, that's why!

Aw, you're a darling! [hugs]

But seriously, every time I'm pseudo-strict and actually stick to it I'm shocked and guilty at myself once I revisit it!
