I was watching Big Bang Theory with my mom and we both got some laughs about it tonight... not that she likes Lord of the Rings, but, she did have to drive me to the movie theater about 8 times to see it! Anyway - +26 on the maxing! Awesome job, guys! \o/

Iceland has this weird perception of Danes being lazy and uncaring, just because the word "ligeglad" sounds funny.

Finland is treated by Sweden and Norway as that weird neighbour they try to ignore, mainly as they're seen as insular, their language is completely different to the rest of Scandinavia and being in a weird purgatory of neither being scandinavians or eastern european ethnically.

Icelandic is old Norse though, iirc. Finnish is Uralic, a whole different set.
