[rushes over, snatches the next pile of documents from his hands]

DON'T HUG ME WITHOUT WEARING ANY PANTS!

Maybe you wouldn't be so cold if you actually wore some; did that ever occur to you? Go put on a pair, then you can talk to me!

Very good! [sets his bundle of documents down on a table, turns to face him]

Ah, Italien,... surely you remember the talk we had when we met as, um, children several days ago? About your childhood with Heiliges Römisches-- well, with me? I was wondering if you would like to talk about this some more.

So, ah... what was our childhood like? Österreich told me that we spent a lot of time together and that we were close...

[absentmindedly starts playing with his tie, looks down]

Mm, I was the cleaner! I cleaned the house and did all the chores with mia sorella Hungary!

You were scary. Ve, you followed me a lot.

Scary? You mean you were afraid of me? But... weren't we friends?

I didn't boss you around, did I? [nevermind that this is all he ever does in present-day time]

We were! But you wanted to become the new Roman Empire like my Nonno... And you wanted me to join you, too, but I said no and you got angry a lot.

I see. [is somewhat upset by this]

Did we, I don't know, play together a lot? I didn't just persist on founding the joint empire all the time, right?

Sì! We played in the river, and we painted, too! Sometimes we even played like kitties and tag! We played tag, too!
