Not that anon, but I understand the feeling. I don't know how important proms are for people exactly, but the internet (and the meme) is STILL another way to socialize...

I understand it too, and sympathize with it a lot, but -- like. a part of why I'm just staying on the sidelines of meme prom is that I don't want to get too caught up in it, to worry over it and stress like I know I would if I let myself take it seriously. I definitely understand feeling sad over silly internet things, but I wish anon wasn't like me in that regard. ): it's not such a huge thing that anyone should feel bad over it. I don't want people to feel bad for such things!
