[he's already sent citizen applications to that other funny little micronation to get a rise out of Finland. Maybe this would, too.]

[bends down a bit and holds out hand to shake]
How does one apply for citizenship?

Indeed, I am. And, I think some of my people would be interested in joining yours. Do you have any applications I could give them?

U-Uh, sure! How about I just mail it to you or something?

Ah, of course. That would be quite a bit to carry with you.

[takes out a small notepad and pen to write down his residential address and email, rips the sheet out and offers]

Here's my contact information.

[can't help but laugh a bit, puts hand over mouth]

You know, all the usual personal information; name, address, contact information, work history, criminal record, et cetera... That sort of thing.

Oh! Yeah, I guess that sounds fine! England does that, right? And so does Latvia? And Su-papa?

Indeed, they do! Just about every nation does.
Often, there's some sort of test, as well.

What kind of test?

Just general questions about the nation; history, national symbols, workings of the government, and so on. America has a rather extensive one with sample questions online if you want to have a look at it.

Oh! Yeah, I could do-- I mean, that's just like what I have! Exactly!

Hahah-

Oh, good! I'm sure my citizens are looking forward to seeing it soon, then.

Great! Does this mean you recognize me now?

Uh.

Alright, why not?
[let's hope the bosses don't mind.]
