Re: Nation Death Headcanon ThreadelectriclaughJuly 5 2009, 05:00:32 UTC
i think they die like any normal person would, but don't just disappear as they live on in their people because a nation's people does not just disappear, it lives on in blood and flesh and things like that.
so i don't even know, they die off, but a part of them is carried on in their people.
ok, then, let's seezee_teeJuly 5 2009, 05:02:44 UTC
After divorcing Mama Greece (who became the Byzantine Empire,) Rome struggled to go it alone like he did back in the good old days, but still relied too heavily on Germania's support. Germania eventually backstabbed him, though it was pretty obvious he didn't like him much to begin with

I like this.
I think that Mama during the decline of Byzantine was also getting old and weak, despite the fact that China who's much older is strong and fairly youngish. That she was like late Rome who Italy says that was scarred and tired. But was killed off by Germania.

thank you, anon<3
Yes, exactly. Old, weak, and tired, but desperately clinging to her past and her child.
Incidentally, I wrote a kind of sappy little comic on the subject... it's very rough, and I left out the actual death scene because I'm a wimp, but would you like to see it, anon? ;w;

I like to think that Mama Greece broke up with Rome because he was a weirdo (because let's face it, he's N. Italy if N. Italy was a little more manry and buff).

"COME ON, GREECE, LOOK AT OUR CUTE GRANDSONS, LET'S SET UP A PLAYDATE" "NO PLAYDATES." "COME ONNNNNNN [smoochy face]" "ASK ME ONE MORE TIME, ROME, AND I SWEAR YOU'RE SLEEPING ON THE COUCH" "[France-esque handkerchief bite and puppy-dog eyes]" "...FINE."

I've seen Japanese sites talking about Byzantium being Greece's mom and about her relationship with Rome and about younger Turkey. They say that these are mentioned in a recent Drama CD. Too bad I understand too little japanese.
