I-pin was in one of the cropping rooms, checking to see what needed watering and what needed trimming, she'd clipped a bag to her waist to toss in clippings and was intently cutting away bits of tomato plants. She'd found this was actually very relaxing, almost as much as running through forms could be, so she didn't notice when someone entered the room.

As Sam made her way through the agricultural decks, wondering if she might spot the Count down here she hadn't seen much of him recently. Instead she spotted the young woman who had recently arrived working with a tomato plant.
"I don't think we've had the chance to be introduced, I'm Sam." Sam said amiably as she approached her with a friendly smile.

The sudden voice nearly gave her heart failure, as it was she spun, clippers in hand and a block already initiated before she had a chance for her brain to catch back up with her body. "Oh goodness, you startled me! I'm so sorry!" God sometimes it was embarrassing to have those reflexes. Straightening up, the Chinese girl, still blushing, bowed politely to Sam. "I'm I-pin, it's very nice to meet you." She straightened and finally got a decent look at the woman. She was blond and looked nice, with a warm smile. I-pin found herself smiling back.

Sam took a half step back as I-pin spun brandishing her shears. "Sorry I-pin, I didn't mean to startle you." Having thrown up her hands to defend herself Sam slowly lowered them and asked the Chinese girl, "How are you settling in?"

As Sam made her way through the station she decided it would be a good idea to check in with ISES to make sure all the systems' automatic functions were operating properly.
"Hello ISES," she said tapping the computer icon in the control room. "Have their been any malfunctions in system operations?" Sam asked the computer.

"Hello, and thank you for activating the Icelus Station Essential Systems User Interface. You may call me ISES. How may I be of assistance?" the computer responded between being turned on and being presented with a question. "There are no system malfunctions at this time."
