If there was one thing she enjoyed more than anything, even, it was putting Church in his place. This little tournament of his would be another way for her to do that. Problem was, she couldn’t remember the last time she touched a video game of any sort and he’d been spending most of his time screwing around with the damn things. This was why she snuck into the rec room when Church wasn’t around, snagged a portable, and set herself up on the observation deck to figure out why this game deserved its own tournament.

She booted up the portable and navigated to the game list. Immediately her eyes fell on one title in particular; Space Invaders. That sounded more fun than what she had been planning to mess with and she selected that one from the list. "What the hell is this crap," she grumbled to herself as she worked to figure out the controls and just how Church managed to mess with these computers so often with his gauntlets.

Eventually, she’d get around to playing Tetris, but for now, the small, pixilated alien ships and the fake gun she was killing them with had her attention. It made her wonder, though, if whoever had made this game had even seen real aliens. They didn’t look like the ones from her world, at least, but the game did appear to be ancient and simple. Probably like the rest of the ones on the list. No wonder Church liked them so much.
